My second name for this picture would be "pouting".



My entry for a contest :iconvanillaacolytes: is holding (sorry guys, I realize how small the picture is, I fail :ohnoes:). If you don't realize it, this drawing is a parody of a famous painting entitled "American Gothic" [link] .

...I hope this counts as "cos-play"... :XD: The rule of the contest was that you had to draw one of her characters and one of my characters (or more) cosplaying from something. This isn't quite from an anime or cartoon series. I couldn't think of something like that, so I thought I'd take another silly approach. :XD: So here we have Leo Winters and her character Hans as the farmer-type characters depicted in the original picture. Oh, and Leo couldn't find a pitch-fork, so he had to use a spork to pose with. Maybe that's why the two of them are pouting?

This is definitely an interesting take on the cosplaying theme! I did say it didn't have to be anime or manga, so I don't see why this wouldn't work. :) It's definitely unique.

I originally thought you added the spork because of all my Narrator column jokes about them. :D Either way, it still works.

The outfit seems to fit Leo, but Hans doesn't seem too comfortable in it. XD Anyways, nice job on the picture, and good luck in the contest!
